Let's Plan »

Mount Kailash is sacred and a deeply numinous place. Hinduism considers the mountain to be the home of their God-Lord Shiva. Buddhists considers, Mount Kailash is said to be the center of the Universe-the axis mundi in Asian cosmology. It is located in far west corner of Tibet. The beauty of the 6700 meter high Mount Kailash, that looks like a symmetrical cone shaped rock capped by pure crystalline ice all the time, is echoed in various mythological and literary works. Amazing journey leads to one of the most revered holy sites in the entire world. The Hindus, Buddhists, and Bon followers all believe that a walk around this site erases all the sins of your life. Every year hundreds of pilgrims travel from all over the Indian sub continent and Tibet to make the ritual circumambulation around the mountain in their quest for enlightenment and this trek will join them on their journey.

Adventure journey to Mount Kailash leads through Jumla and boarder area of Nepal and Tibet. The remote and least explored territory in Nepal. Follows journey to Lake Mansarovar, another holy site close to Mt. Kailash. Then Mount Kailash kora walk, the sacred circuit around the mountain, which is probably the world's best walk. The trip will end with an unparalleled drive through the Tibetan Plateau and exit from Zhangmu boarder.
